Thanksgiving...we're a holiday behind. :)

Ok so here are pictures from our trip to Bend for Thanksgiving...FINALLY!!! Christmas pics are coming. :)

Here are a few recent pics of the boy in all his cuteness. He'll be SEVEN months on Christmas Eve. Who can believe it?

Well it has been almost a month since we posted something on here!! Life has been crazy. November included three tips to Los Angeles for multiple birthdays and an anniversary (ours, 3 years!!), and a trip to Bend, OR to see Sam, Andrea, and Jayden's little cousins. All a lot of fun but boy are we happy to be home to stay for awhile. Jayden was a trooper as usual and even stayed with grandma dottie for two days while we went out of town for our anniversary and some much needed sleep. :)

Jayden had his 6 month check up last week. He weighed at a not so whopping 14 pounds, 10 ounces (that's the 25th percentile) and is quite the long skinny dude, measuring 26.2 inches (76th percentile!). He has started solid food (pictured below) and likes it for the most part. He is growing up so fast, we can't believe it. He's got sitting up mastered and is doing it for longer and longer periods of time before tumbling over. He has started napping like a champ (is currently finishing up an almost 3 hour nap!), and his nights are alright. If you feel like praying for something, pray for him to start sleeping through the night again. Mommy is tired!!

Here's a couple recent pics. We're waiting on more from grandma since she took the majority of the shots in Oregon. The picture next to Jayden in this top one is of me (Sarah) as a baby. Uncanny, huh? Then the next one is of his first experience with solid food. Then two more grandma dottie took while we were in Solvang for our anniversary. Gorgeous!!

Mommy sure is funny...at least according to Jayden!!

So I discovered recently that when Jayden is in a good mood, I can pretty much say anything as long as its in the right tone of voice and he will laugh hysterically. Literally, anything....I even tried saying different body parts the other day. So we caught it on video since I'm sure very soon he will not find me this funny. Check it out. :)

Jayden's First Halloween!!

So Jayden had his first Halloween...thanks to some wonderful boys in our college group at church (that would be you Westin, Cameron, and Tom) who bought Jayden his costume while he was still in utero, Jayden was a hot dog!! Enjoy the pics. He wasn't so sure about it at first but eventually warmed up to the idea. I don't know about you, but he was the cutest hot dog I had EVER seen. :)

Hey everyone...so Jayden was in a great mood the other day and I seized the opportunity and took some amazing pictures of the cuteness!!! Enjoy!!

Jayden took his first plane flight last weekend! And his second, but that was to come home. The occasion you ask? We went to Walnut Creek to see Ryan, Brenda, Noah, and soon to be born Zachariah!! It was also Noah's 2nd birthday. Such a big boy! : )

Ok so I got a lot of comments from people saying the spit-up picture back in July made them sick..if you were one of those people, don't watch this video!! But if you weren't, check it out. It makes me laugh out loud every time!

sitting up...kinda... :)

So..Jayden is sitting up!!! Not for very long and not very well but he can do it...so check out the video and the picture. In other news, he has started napping in his crib. This is HUGE progress. And he put himself to sleep last night in his crib for the first time!! AND he's getting his first tooth..so lots of stuff going on here at the Stephens house! We love you all. 4 months old, here we come!!

Well Jayden will be four months old on Monday, which we find hard to believe. (a side note: our nephew, Owen, also turns SIX that day...Amazing!). He is doing so well, growing like a weed. He's sleeping pretty well at night, and will start the night with a stretch of anywhere from 6-9 hours. Mommy loves the nine hour nights!! His reflux is about the same, maybe a little better. Still lots of puking and some fussiness during feedings here and there. He is such a happy little guy, though. He fills our days with joy and laughter!

Hello all. Well as usual Jayden is growing like crazy and filling our lives with joy and laughter. He recently started doing really well with his "tummy time." He used to hate it and would lay there and cry but lately he picks his head up, looks around, smiles, and laughs. He is also working on rolling but isn't quite there yet.
